Is that a real leaf? Two reviewed pieces carry leaf impressions, and they could not wear them more differently. 1935’s pale cup holds ghosted brown prints, soft as watermarks. 1967’s near-black boulder carries a full lobed leaf — veins intact, oak-like to the eye — pressed pale into the crust like a fossil, with smaller leaf ghosts breaking through around it.
The veining argues a real leaf did the pressing; the pages record the argument without ruling on it, and no page names a species. The term entered the registry as a batch-10 candidate on 1935 alone and was promoted with its second member in the 2026-07-12 batch-11 ruling.
