The warmest of the pale-swipes trio: a rust-red, crusted tea-bowl cup where bold pale grey sweeps cut diagonal panels between the dark crown and the rust base — the close-up shows actual stroke texture in the swipe, drag lines and all. The rim wears the family’s dark wet-look crust. Inside, the dark chocolate well carries the run’s silvery glassy line-drawing, third in a row after 2055 and 2056, with the same crawled silvery ring at the rim. Faint incised curls mark the base but never resolve into readable digits, so this page leaves them be.
What made the pale slash across the front? Something dragged through the dark surface before it settled — finger, tool, or brush, the photos keep that secret. Piece 2057 of 10,000, listed at $20.57.
