The tallest of the vessel run: an egg-shaped, moon-jar-leaning form in brushed scratchy grey-white, rising to a narrow collared mouth over a deep dark interior — the top-down photo peers past a crusted gritty shoulder ring into shadow. On the upper flank, a pocked foamy patch has erupted through the wall, hairline crack at its edge and a drip trail running below like a comet’s tail — the sixth and last of the range’s erupting vessels. The in-hand base view shows “2079” incised in scratchy digits with an orange smudge nearby.
What ran down its side? Something left the erupted patch and traveled — a drip trail fixed in place mid-journey, cause unrecorded. Piece 2079 of 10,000, listed at $20.79.
