What are the pale patches on these bases? Three bronze-toned handbuilt rock-form vessels from May 2025 — 1719, 1720, 1721 — each turn over to a base ringed with soft, matte, pale patches in sage-green and gold, pooled and blotched across the underside.
The patches are described only as they photograph. What caused them is not asserted on the pages — the same caution the catalog keeps for every surface — even where the marks read like the contact points a piece leaves behind in the kiln. Approved as a three-member family in the 2026-07-14 batch-18 ruling.
