A flat, roughly square slab with slightly irregular edges, photographed in the August 16 batch. The top face is matte brown and tan, streaked in horizontal lines that read as brushed or combed. A narrow band of dark bare clay runs along one edge, near black against the streaking. The underside is bare too, a matte charcoal near black, carrying “2354” handwritten in pale pigment near the center.
Which way do the streaks run? Horizontally, in brushed-looking lines of brown and tan that cover the whole top face. Piece 2354 of 10,000, listed at $23.54.
