A flat slab, roughly square to rectangular, with irregular, torn-looking edges. The top surface is a uniform dark brown with horizontal brush-like striations, mottled darker patches, and a glossy sheen in places. Small patches of bare, lighter clay show near the edges in both top views.
The underside is matte dark brown, nearly black, scattered with small pale inclusions, and carries “2352” handwritten in pale pigment near the center.
