The warm one of its group: a closed handbuilt boulder in coarse bare clay that photographs umber-brown where its neighbors read near-black, rounded into low facets and settled on a flattened base. Chalky cream patches scatter across the shoulder and flank, some the size of a thumbprint, others no more than a fleck. A round hole is bored clean through the crown, with a second opening low on one flank in the top-down photo; a dried grass stem stands in the crown hole in two of the four images.
