Warm caramel-amber glazed handbuilt ceramic cup with a big rough pulled loop handle and dark brown brushed bands, a crack crossing the rim on one side, piece 2050 of A Penny For Your Pottery.

The batch signs off with a caramel-amber cup, glossy and gritty, one big rough pulled loop at its side. Dark brown brushwork finishes the run that 2047 started: two horizontal bands wrapping one flank, a bold crescent blotch on the other. One stretch of rim carries a crack — a pale-edged notch visible outside that the top-down shot follows into the interior wall — recorded here exactly as photographed, nothing more. Inside, the chocolate-brown glaze pools to a shine; the bottom view shows “2050” incised faintly in the bare tan base with a rust-pink blush ringing the edge.

What closes the 2001–2050 range? This cup — fiftieth of fifty, its number scratched in its own base, its rim wearing the firing’s last mark like a signature. Piece 2050 of 10,000, listed at $20.50.
