A big sandy tan-orange rock of a form, its crown transformed: glassy melted glaze caps the top with grey-green drip beads, silvery pewter-toned streaks, and discrete deep-cobalt blue pools and patches gathered around a torn, roughly heart-shaped mouth — the top-down photo makes the whole crown look like a tide pool. Down the right flank a crazed pink-red crust patch sits over the pale gritty body, close kin to 2035’s red plates; the rest is bare cracked tan with dark specks on the handbuilt surface. No handles, no neck. The August 2026 set adds the base: handwritten digits too faint to read with confidence (noted, never asserted), with small blue specks, dark patches, and concentric ridge lines underneath.
What melted on piece 2036? Something at the crown ran glassy — green beads, silver streaks, blue pools — but the recipe stays in the kiln’s memory, not on this page. Piece 2036 of 10,000, listed at $20.36.
