What are the raised lines? Directional striations dragged through the surface while it could still move, leaving raised parallel tracks rather than cut-in scratches. On 2374 the tracks sweep in circular passes across the whole top face; on 2377 they run in dense straighter lines. The raised profile is what separates this from scoring, which cuts into the clay instead.
