A flat, roughly square slab with rounded corners and wavy edges, photographed August 16. Dense circular, swirling comb marks in tan cover the dark brown, near-black top surface, and a lighter horizontal band crosses the middle. The reverse is comparatively plain and matte, with “2374” handwritten and two small round indentations along one edge.
What crosses the middle of the face? A lighter horizontal band cuts across the mid-surface, running through the circular comb marks, and it appears in both top-facing photographs. Piece 2374 of 10,000, listed at $23.74.
