The top face is dark brown to near-black with a matte, satin sheen, crossed mid-face by a broad pale grayish streak; cream-tan bare clay shows along the top edge and corner, and a small diagonal notch sits near one corner. The underside carries “2370” handwritten in pale pigment, with faint scribed crosshatch lines and a diagonal scratch running across the matte dark surface.
