The wider companion to 2334: a handbuilt bowl flaring conical from a narrow pedestal foot, its chocolate-dark body gritty and matte, its rim traced by a thick silvery-white glossy bead that drips in places down the lip. The interior floor holds a glossy dark pool with a pale loop of highlight riding its surface. On the foot pad, the number 2335 is incised, its grooves partly filled with pale residue. How big is it? The photos don’t measure it, but the hand-held shots show a wide, open bowl spanning well past the palm — broad where its neighbor 2334 is deep. Piece 2335 of 10,000, listed at $23.35.
