The streak widens into a landscape. A warm satin-white barrel cup wears a pronounced rust-brown streak that reads almost horizontal — brushy granular clusters strung across the flank like a rust horizon over a pale field, darker and broader than 2157’s single run. Throwing rings circle beneath it. The base carries “2158” handwritten in brown.
Why does it look like a horizon? Because the rust-brown gathers into a broad band across the middle of the wall, splitting the white into sky above and ground below — the boldest streak of the May-4 cups. Piece 2158 of 10,000, listed at $21.58.
