A globe cup in satin white smudged with tan-smoke drifts, carrying its dark weather in two masses: a thick, glossy black panel poured down one flank, and a smaller black crust riding the shoulder above it. Swing to the other side and the mood changes entirely — a broad matte powder-blue field spreads across the wall, smoother and softer than the granular blue crust on 2135, more powder than plaster. The base narrows to a waisted turned foot with “2142” handwritten in black.
Which side is the front? The listing can’t decide either — one photo leads with the black panel, another with the blue field, and the cup is a different object in each. Piece 2142 of 10,000, listed at $21.42.
