The frosted one: a waisted cylinder whose white ground has a sugary, salt-crust texture, carrying a soft indigo-blue cloud band across its lower two-thirds. The close-up shows the band’s secret — a granular sugar-frost bloom dusted crystalline white over the blue fields, with dark pits and specks embedded beneath and a pale lavender-grey streak cutting the indigo on a diagonal. Small navy blobs and dash marks float above the band; tiny bright-blue specks scatter like distant stars. Inside, glossy white with black spatter. The spiral-ridged base reads “2099” handwritten in black ink, a black band stroke curving around the lower flank beside it.
Why does the blue look dusted? Because it is — a crystalline bloom sits over the indigo like frost on a window, and the photos can name the look but not the chemistry. Piece 2099 of 10,000, listed at $20.99.
