The painted family’s finale opens with a group portrait: four cups from the same session on the white home table, and 2084 is the big one at center — a wide bowl-form cup whose white ground carries broad turquoise and pale-blue washes, a smeared grey smoke band circling the mid-body, small black blob strokes, and rust-brown pin-spots near the foot, all brushed decoration. Its companions stay unnamed here; each has its own page and its own say. The close-ups follow the cup around a kitchen counter and table — window light, morning shadows — and find the interior grey-washed, an umber splotch pooled at one side of the well, a rust patch at the inner rim. No base photo exists, so no number is claimed.
Which cup in the group shot is it? The largest, center frame — the one whose turquoise wash you can spot from across the kitchen. Piece 2084 of 10,000, listed at $20.84.
