The most photographed piece of the batch — eight views of a large round jar in warm-greige satin glaze, glossy at the rim band and dripping below it, its pinched wavy rim torn open at one notch. All over the wall, pale shard-like plates and small nubs sit embedded in and erupting through the glazed surface: flattened crusty plates ringed with fine crack halos, as if the jar swallowed a broken dish and the kiln let pieces surface. The interior shows greige matte with one white glossy splotch at bottom center; the base carries “2077” incised in scratchy cursive digits.
Why eight photos? Because every quarter-turn surfaces another plate — the listing circles the jar the way you would, counting eruptions. Piece 2077 of 10,000, listed at $20.77.
