First of the range’s erupting vessels: a bone-white body combed with brushy striations, torn at the rim — one vertical split descending from the rim edge, recorded as photographed — and, mid-flank, the main event: a foamy, bubbly, crumbly pale boss bursting through the wall like rock breaking a river’s surface. What erupted, nobody’s saying. One photo holds the vessel in an open hand, which is the only scale reference this page will offer.
