A handbuilt bottle: a rounded body that draws in at the shoulder and rises to a short, torn neck with a small open mouth, no handles. The unglazed dark brown-black wall is gritty and rough, mottled all over with a pale dusty bloom and a few raised white crusty patches. The first photo holds it up to a dirty window with greenery beyond, so light passes around the silhouette; the others set it on the sill.
