A tall, upright handbuilt vessel whose unglazed near-black charcoal wall is worked into a heavy rocky crust — pitted, gritty and lumpen — rising to a torn, scalloped mouth. A scatter of pale cream flecks catches in the texture near the rim and along one side. The body narrows toward a small base, and the whole surface stays matte and rough rather than smooth.
