A flat, irregular-edged slab whose top face carries a semigloss sheen: dark brown to near-black, mottled with grey-brown streaks that catch reflective highlights. Cream bare clay shows at the edges where the dark surface breaks. The underside is matte and more uniform, holding “2365” handwritten in white and, near one corner, a small pale blue-grey mark distinct in color from the numerals.
What’s the second mark on the base? Besides the white handwritten number, a small pale blue-grey spot sits near one corner of the underside, a different color from the digits. Piece 2365 of 10,000, listed at $23.65.
