A flat, roughly square slab with an irregular edge, photographed in the August 16 batch. Most of the top face is deep brown to near black with a glossy sheen, and a narrower band of lighter tan and gold runs along one edge, crossed by a network of fine, light-colored branching lines. The underside is a uniform matte near black with a grid-like, basket-weave texture in the surface, marked with a handwritten “2360” in pale pigment.
What are the fine branching lines? A network of thin, pale lines threading over the tan and gold band at one edge of the glossy face. Piece 2360 of 10,000, listed at $23.60.
