The most documented piece of the June group, in seven photos. A squat tea bowl swirled blue-grey and cream, its glossy surface worked into a fine crackle and peeled back in patches to brown iron edges; a crack runs down from the torn rim. Shown from several angles and cupped in a hand, its marbled walls shifting between smoky blue and white. The base carries “2244” handwritten.
Why seven photos? Because there’s a lot to circle — marbled blue-and-white walls, a crackled, peeling surface, iron-stained edges, and a rim crack, the busiest surface of the June bowls. Piece 2244 of 10,000, listed at $22.44.
