Here the black takes over one side. A cream chawan carries pale-blue washes drifting across the wall and, dominating a whole flank, a big glossy black patch crawled into a crumpled lava-like crust — the same thick reactive black that marked 2151 back at the range’s start, now on a tea bowl. Dark speckle flecks the rest. The base carries “2176” handwritten.
That crumpled black again? A broad glossy black patch, cracked and pooled like cooled lava against the cream, the boldest dark mass of the early chawans. Piece 2176 of 10,000, listed at $21.76.
