Grey-white matte handbuilt ceramic bottle with a rock-like textured body, a short neck, and a torn rim opening to bare tan clay, piece 2054 of A Penny For Your Pottery.

A grey-white bottle with the presence of a weathered stone: an ovoid, rock-textured body rising to a short neck whose rim tears open to bare tan clay inside. The whole surface wears a thick plaster-like pale coating, smeared and swirled with wipe marks, scattered with pale grit; tiny red-tinged hairlines craze through the coating here and there, recorded exactly as photographed. Six photos circle it, from full profile to crown close-ups and a texture macro — photographed December 20, 2025, with everything else from that day.

Is it stone or clay? Clay — but the thick smeared coating and torn stone-grey crown do their best to argue otherwise. Piece 2054 of 10,000, listed at $20.54.
