A scorched grey-black boulder with two big pulled loops and a small oval crater at the crown — no neck, so no amphora — whose matte handbuilt skin carries the range’s third set of scored marks: a looping incised outline and a crosshatched grid patch cut beside one handle, with a fainter oval ghosting elsewhere. Pale tan clay shows through the scorch in places; a small angular hole pierces near one handle; hairlines web the surface and open onto nothing.
Did the same hand score 2010 and 2012? The catalog can’t say — but after 250 pieces with one scratched member, two arrive in three numbers, and a watch that ran since piece 1756 closes. Piece 2012 of 10,000, listed at $20.12.
