Pale ceramic cup in an overall mushroom-grey wash with a soft plum drip below the rim, piece 1937 of A Penny For Your Pottery.

Third of the plum-dripped cups: an overall mushroom-pearl wash, a dusting of rust-red speckles near the rim, and one soft plum drip descending the shoulder like a watermark. The macro finds the speckles; the third photo shows the bare buff foot band under it all.

Same maker’s mark as 1930 and 1936? The same small red note, unsigned — three cups in this run carry it, which is why the registry now watches the look. Piece 1937 of 10,000, listed at $19.37.
