A rounded, open cup with a torn rim and a mostly rough, sand-textured wall in dark grey-brown. Across one side a glossy, blue-black patch pools and hardens into the crust, catching the light where the rest of the surface stays matte. The walls are hand-formed and uneven. It is photographed against a plywood corner; one of the three listing frames shows only that plywood wall, with the piece out of shot.
What’s the shiny dark mark on the side? By eye it reads as a glassy, blue-black patch set into the otherwise sandy surface — a pooled, vitreous area described here only as it looks. Piece 1806 of 10,000, listed at $18.06.
