The clearest coil-built piece of the stretch: pronounced stacked coil bands run the full height of the wall, from tapered bottom to thick rolled rim. The handbuilt body is matte, sandy red, with fine cracks tracing along the coil seams. The store lists it as “Wild Red Clay Coil Vessel Unglazed, Cone 10” — the unglazed surface and cone-10 firing are the store’s statements. The outdoor photos stage it holding a dried-grass bouquet; the bouquet isn’t part of the piece.
