A flat, roughly square slab with two distinctly different faces. The top is medium grey-brown, streaked with dense vertical drag marks and scattered with small white flecks; the underside is uniformly dark, near black, carrying cross-hatch scoring in two rectangular zones and “2343” handwritten in cream. The side view holds the two together, the lighter top running above a dark, rough band along the full length of the bottom edge.
How different are the two faces? Completely: the lighter, striated top gives way at the edge to an underside that is near black from corner to corner. Piece 2343 of 10,000, listed at $23.43.
