This one is coarse and gritty all over — a mottled smoky tan, brown, and black surface, matte and pitted, with dark iron patches and small pits scattered across the wall — over a footed form with a cream interior and a torn rim. The base carries “2223” handwritten. It closes its stretch here: 2224 is a reserved number with no page.
Why so coarse? Its whole wall is a rough, gritty, smoke-toned mottle — the group at its most weathered and unpolished. Piece 2223 of 10,000, listed at $22.23.
