A wide, shallow bowl weathered all over: its outer wall mottles between dusty blue-grey and warm brown iron patches, the whole surface finely crackled like a stone worn by water, above a pale interior and a softly torn rim. It closes the run’s pre-gap stretch — 2198 is a reserve number with no page, so the chain breaks here until 2199. The base carries “2197” handwritten.
Blue or brown? Both, mottled together — a crackled wash of blue-grey and iron over a low bowl, the most weathered of the group. Piece 2197 of 10,000, listed at $21.97.
