The black on this frost-white bowl-cup stands up off the wall: a glossy jet panel rides one shoulder in raised relief, its surface beaded with droplet blisters the close-up catches standing proud like braille. Around it, navy dash strokes scatter like bird tracks across the white, powder-blue haze pools near the rim, an olive-grey double streak bands the right flank, and black speckles drift everywhere. Inside: white with blue tinges. The raised foot disc shows “2140” handwritten in black.
Raised how far? Enough to shadow — the blistered beads catch light on their tops and cast dark below, a texture the flat photos still manage to show. Piece 2140 of 10,000, listed at $21.40.
