Second of the white splash cups, and the first where the paint refuses to stop at the rim: one navy stroke climbs the wall, crosses the lip, and keeps going down into the white interior. Around it, navy blots (one pocked with pinholes), a cold ice-blue column, and an umber sponge-cloud share the walls of this handbuilt cup. The base shows “2110” handwritten on bare clay.
How far inside does the stroke go? A finger-length past the rim, tapering as it descends — the interior’s only mark. Piece 2110 of 10,000, listed at $21.10.
