The first piece. A small squat pot, handbuilt — the walls carry horizontal ridges where they were built up, and the short flared rim is uneven in the way only fingers leave it. The surface is matte, chalky white, with a few small pinholes at the shoulder. It was photographed alone on concrete, with nothing in the frame for scale, and its single photo doesn’t show the base.
